At the opposite end of the attic space we added a composition of 3 new casement windows at the gable, and a pair of new skylights provide additional light and ventilation while lending architectural distinction to the room.
Two big closets were installed under the sloping roof on one side of the bedroom and another general storage area is accessed through a door on the opposite side.
Between the stairwell and the new master bath is small reading nook. A recessed wall panel provides room to install recessed lighting in an area for future artwork, and the new couch is the center of a quiet "away area" for our homeowners.
