To connect the kitchen to the adjacent family room, the dinette's wall was removed, as was dark-stained false ceiling beams and wainscoting in both areas. To visually connect the larger space, a new hickory hardwood floor and a new oak crown molding was installed throughout, and a rich paint color ties it all together.

The new dinette is now a more informal space, with a pair of comfortable chairs and a low table providing a relaxing place for our homeowners to enjoy their morning paper & coffee. A small seating area built in to the island provides a place to grab a quick bite or to sit while preparing food. Whether cooking for themselves or hosting a social event, our clients are thrilled with the fabulous new space.
