What started as a small, U-shaped kitchen and adjacent dinette area has been transformed into this elegant space to prepare food, and this project captured a Silver in the 2006 Wisconsin Remodelors Awards.
Expansive Dura Supreme cabinetry provides storage for all of the tools necessary to create restaurant-grade meals. The Silestone Brazilian Brown counter top is lowered near the window for a baking area, and the large island holds the cooktop with integral venting, a warming drawer and a small book shelf on each end. The island's radiused overhang allows for casual dining, and new multiple lighting sources assure ample coverage for any task.
