This bathroom remodel took an ordinary 3-fixture bath area and transformed it into a special retreat for our homeowners. By borrowing space from and adjacent closet, we were able to add a custom twin sink vanity, a large linen cabinet, and a new shower enclosure.

The twin sink vanity features a custom bent-wood apron that echoes the sinuous curves of the solid-surface counter top, and solid-surface undermounted sinks provide a seamless transition from top to bowl. The vanity is wall mounted and uses undercabinet lighting to emphasize that it hovers above the floor.

The new shower has full-length sliding doors, twin shower-heads (including a separate hand-held unit), tile walls with soap niches and a triangular seat in the corner.

A new skylight above floods the larger bathroom with light, and this successful project won a Silver in the 2005 Wisconsin Remodelors Awards.
