HeatWeave electric heating mats were installed under the tumbled tile floors, and a doorway leads to a small private balcony which allows for fresh breezes to flow through the space. There's a separate toilet room, as well as a generous walk-in closet.
On the exterior, a wide roof overhang and stucco finish were chosen to match existing feautures of the home, and this new addtion looks like it's always been there.
