The new kitchen features Dura Supreme oak cabinetry topped with new solid surfacing counters. The sit-in breakfast bar/island is topped with a durable butcher block and provides a central place to grab a quick bite. In the corner, a desk area provides a drop zone as well as a place for family mail to be organized. On the opposite wall, deep pantry cabinets surround the refrigerator, creating a built-in look.

The wall between the dining room and the kitchen was opened up to connect the two visually and socially, and new oak hardwood flooring was installed throughout to match the original. New recessed lighting and new pendants over the island create a bright and elegant space to prepare meals.
