This project involved work in nearly every room of the house. In the living room, dark paneling was removed and replaced with new drywall and recessed low-voltage lighting was installed to provide better general lighting as well as to highlight the texture of the fireplace.

At the dining room, two exisitng side entries were closed off and a new wider central entry was created. This deeper opening created a space on each side for new built-in china cabinets with glass doors and interior lighting. Now the dining room is a more intimate and formal space, but is still open to the living room area.
